Iris A

Art Nouveau cross stitch pattern with two fantasy births.

This is the first pattern of the second triptych in Art Nouveau.
The pattern is based on a work by Albert Smit (1878-1946)
In this pattern I used Madeira Rayon and four colours of Madeira Metallic.
Madeira is a synthetic thread with a high gloss, it is thin and strong.
In the pattern you will find a convert list to DMC, the converted colours match well with Madeira but you will lose the high gloss of Madeira.
Only 16 quarter cross-stitches are use in this pattern ( only in the eyes of the births )
If you like to embroider al of the triptych, order Iris A,B,C
