Description

This pattern is a co-production of Aaron art and Naald en draad ( www.naaldendraad.com )
This is the fourth pattern of the Tangram B series.
A complete Tangram figure consists of 7 parts.
After the square was finished I turned it 45 degrees and designed the diamond shape.
This pattern contains both shapes in a small,- and big version.
Of both versions there is a 9,- and a 12 color example in this pattern.
Together with the 8 pieces that are mirrored brings the total on 64 pieces.
Enough to make a lot of Tangram figures to embroider.
On the internet you can find many examples of Tangram figures or you create your own figure by cutting out the pieces of the pattern. There are also 2 pages with examples of Tangram figures.
On the photos of the Tangram patterns A and Tangram B.3 on this site, you’ll see a number of embroidered examples.
All information about fabric, thread, sizes and how to proceed can be found in the manual of this pattern.
I have embroidered the patterns with Au Ver à Soie-Soie d’Alger silk, but there is a conversion list to DMC.
Of course you can use different colors or choose to embroider the pattern with one color.
124 special stitches are used in this pattern.
All special stitches used in this pattern each are separately and clearly explained.
I wish you lots of embroidering and puzzle fun.
