Description
Besides hexagons I think spirals are very inspiring.
If you pay attention you can find them everywhere in nature, just look how the seeds in a sunflower are arranged.
Designing this pattern the challenge was to combine the straight lines of the hexagons whit the curves of the spiral.
The result is an embroidery with lots of depth.
Backstitches are embroidered with a combination of one strand of DMC and one strand of Kreinik Metallics Blending Filament.
You can also choose to embroider the back stitches whit two strands of the darkest colour use in this pattern.
Or you choose a different even darker colour.
In this pattern only full cross-stitches are used.
