Petit point pattern of the birth of a soap bubble.

SKU: 190_EN Categories: , , Tags: , ,

This is the third pattern of the bubble project.
Also take a look at the description of pattern Cross-Stitch Bubble.
This pattern is embroidered with petit point stitches using one strand of Au Ver à Soie-Soie d’Alger.
The pattern contains 38438 petit point stitches!
You will find the amount of petit point stitches used each colour in the pattern.
In addition you will find a diagram of used colours each separate bubble.
Petit point stitches are explained in the pattern.
The pattern contain a colour list of DMC.
The translation to DMC is made by the computer.
There are less colors of DMC as there are of Au Ver à Soie-Soie d’Alger,
so using DMC there are 24 colours less used.
There is a photograph of this computer translation to DMC included in the pattern.
I don’t know how it will look embroidered for real using DMC, so I can’t guarantee the result.
You can choose to embroider these bubbles with cross-stitches but the pattern will be a lot bigger.
Or you choose e.g. to embroider one bubble with colours you like.
Maybe sometime in the future I will try something else designing a pattern based on this photograph.
